It may seem like every new car is an EV at the moment, but we can still be thankful for Ford who have released a brand new Mk7 Mustang with a V8 and a manual gearbox!
With a much more aggressive, angular look than the previous generation, the new Mustang certainly looks the part, even more so in this Dark Horse model. With a more aggressive front bumper and splitter, along with a large black section surrounding the grille, it looks seriously menacing.
There are lighter 19-inch alloys and the rear lights keep their triple bar design that all Mustangs have had recently, while in the big rear bumper sit four massive tailpipes.
Those pipes will let the whole world know that under the bonnet of the Dark Horse sits a 5.0 litre naturally aspirated V8 producing 449bhp (sadly 50bhp down on what the US gets) and 540Nm, with a thunderous roar that would wake the dead two towns over. That power is sent to the rear wheels via a standard 6-spd manual gearbox or the optional 10-spd automatic.
The powertrain may be wonderfully old school, but the interior has been brought right up to date with a huge single sweeping screen that goes from in front of the driver to the middle of the dash, with all your infotainment and climate controls.
