Say hello to the coolest new car of 2025 – the Renault 5 EV!
The Renault 5 is one of the most iconic hatchbacks of all time, famous for looking cool sitting on Parisien back streets outside cafes, along with the Renault 5 Turbo 2 blasting through rally stages. So Renault has rightly chosen to bring it back for 2025 with a new twist.
So for the styling Renault has taken all the iconic aspects of the old 5 and brought it bang up to date. So you have a familiar look, yet still super modern. Angular headlights, tall thin rear lights like before, but now LED, DRLs that look like a camera focus outline and a 5 logo on the bonnet that lights up as you’re charging.
Yes that’s right – the new Renault 5 is an EV! So we have a 52kWh battery which means a 255 mile quoted range, more than enough for this funky small car and it’s got peppy performance thanks to a 148bhp motor.
This is the top of the range Iconic model which gets all the options including heated seats and heat pump, and we're even throwing in the gorgeous optional yellow paint!
Expect to see a lot of the new Renault 5 in 2025 and you could win one with BOTB!
