Win a Porsche Cayenne GTS

OR TAKE £74,000 CASH
£3.15

The Cayenne is widely regarded as the car that saved Porsche, selling in huge numbers alongside the Macan to give Porsche the funding to keep on developing incredible sports cars like the 911 GT3.

But that doesn’t mean the Cayenne doesn’t have Porsche DNA – it’s easily the best-handling SUV on sale today, and you won’t feel short-changed driving it down your favourite B-road. Now in its third generation, the Cayenne has just had a facelift to keep things looking fresh, with new headlights and a few tweaks here and there – and it really is still such a good-looking SUV, from the sleek front end to the practical proper rear end.

The Cayenne GTS sits just below the fire-breathing Turbo and shares its 4.0-litre twin turbo V8, albeit at a lower state of tune. Here, that throaty V8 produces 493bhp and 660Nm of torque, which is good enough for a 4.4-second sprint to 62mph and a 171mph top speed.

Being a GTS model it comes with a huge amount of options all lumped in, for less than it would cost to add them separately, so you have the Sport Design Kit which adds some visual menace, tinted LED headlights and tail lights, along with Porsche’s Active Suspension Management system (PASM) with a bespoke setup for the GTS.

21-inch RS Spyder wheels are standard, as are red painted brake calipers and it rides 20mm lower than the normal Cayenne S on its standard steel springs or 30mm lower on the optional air suspension.

As is the way with Porsche these days, the GTS represents the best value in the range and is certainly quick without being silly fast like the Turbo.
