It’s a day of milestones – not only are we celebrating BOTB’s 450th Dream Car winner, it’s also 4 years to the day since David Barrois started playing the competition... he even emailed us recently to check the date! David usually plays for smaller cars, but the smooth lines of the Range Rover Velar in last week’s In The Headlights really caught his eye…and David immediately asked Christian if he could touch this £62,000 beauty after being told he was this week’s big winner!
And the delight didn’t stop there – David and his wife Anuraag were thrilled to also be presented with £20,000 in cash, which they’ve already decided to spend on a well-deserved family holiday – toutes nos félicitations David!

The panel of judges is formed of experienced sports professionals on a rotating basis, who each offer their best opinion. Using a panel of judges ensures that nobody can ever know the original position of the ball - resulting in a process that is fair, transparent, audited and honest.
The winner is calculated by external auditors Wilkins Kennedy, a top 20 UK accountancy group. View confirmation letter
All entrants are eligible to win game credit in zones 1 to 5 (see key above), according to their proximity to the judged position.
The top 20 closest players to the winning coordinates all receive £200 in Game Credit.
I was playing occasionally since 2011 as I passed through airports, but I really started to be a player when I discovered the BOTB website in 2014. Since then, I regularly tried to play even if the people around me were a bit sceptical - I think they totally changed their minds after my win!
I was not working the morning that Christian came to surprise me...and even though I had thought about winning many times (and on a few occasions been very close to it), I was completely shocked when I saw him. To see Christian standing in front of me left me speechless, trying to differentiate between dream and reality!
The win has changed our lives and I’m very grateful to the BOTB team - I’ll never forget the sentence that’s at the end of all the winner's videos: “see you next week, hopefully surprising you!” - that sentence spoke to me! Thanks, team, you are the Best of the Best!
