In a BOTB first, Christian actually surprised this week’s Dream Car winner’s wife before telling the man himself!
Stewart Macfarlane’s better half Alex was at home in Bishop’s Stortford when Christian rolled up in the Audi RS6, only to discover that Stewart was in fact working from an office in a converted garage just around the corner… on the first day of a new job! Alex made sure she jumped behind the wheel with their two daughters before she let Christian on his way to deliver the news, and who can blame her – it’s not every day you sit in a £93k car!
Stewart quickly muted himself from his Zoom video call when he realised why Christian was there, exclaiming “you’re kidding me!” three times, followed by numerous shouts of “this is incredible!” Petrolhead and self-confessed Audi fan Stewart couldn’t wait to rev the engine, with the pops and burbles bringing a huge smile to his face. And the grin got even wider when Christian revealed £30k cash in the boot too - huge congratulations Stewart (and good luck in the new job)!!

I’ve always enjoyed playing each week, picking different favourite cars like a kid in a sweet shop. And then…it was amazing to see Christian - there was only one reason he was standing in front of me – I was a lucky winner!
