Scott O’Donnell was a little anxious when Christian knocked on his door earlier today, as last week he’d played for a £15k motorbike…and a £75k car! His “face was shaking” (a first for us!) as Christian led him around the corner, where to his equal relief and delight the latter was sitting! Better still, along with the stunning F-Pace SVR Scott also won £20,000 in cash…which he’s promised to spend on his partner and one-year-old daughter – congratulations to you all!

SCOTT'S JAG JOY - Mauchline man wins top of the range car in online contest

Aug 2018

Most people don’t expect to win any online competitions. But a Mauchline man received the surprise of a lifetime after scooping a top-of-the-range Jaguar worth

£74,835 with dream car giveaway. Construction worker Scott O’Donnell, 29, was left lost for words when he was handed the keys to a gleaming Jaguar F-Pace SVR and £20k cash in BOTB’s trademark

Tuesday surprise. Delighted by his prize, Scott said: “I’m still in complete shock, I really can’t believe my luck.

“I’ve got close to winning a couple of times but never thought I’d actually win. It really is a dream come true.”

“I was shaking all over, even my face was shaking. I was so shocked.”

BOTB was founded by William Hindmarch in 1999 and has handed over the keys to more than £22m worth of supercars.

And it wasn’t just Scott who was lost for words - his partner Carrie, 28, and his one-year-old daughter, who were there to share the surprise were also amazed at the news. Scott said:

“Carrie couldn’t believe it when Christian handed me the keys to the car.

“The car might be mine but she’s already planning on how to spend the money.”

Presenter Christian Williams, who delivered the good news said that Scott was a worthy winner.

“I’ve seen many reactions when people find out they have won but a winner’s face shaking really is a first,” joked Christian.
