BRIAN BAGS BMW!

The surprise team were up in Bury earlier today to present this week's Dream Car winner, Brian Richardson, with a brand new BMW X1!

"Oh wow, I'm looking forward to this!" exclaimed Brian before walking round the corner to see the £41,000 SUV. Brian explained how it's pretty hilly locally, so this SUV would be perfect for tackling any difficult environments, exclaiming "winters - bring em' on!".

Sitting inside, BMW super fan Brian got to experience the new series 8 IG drive system including the new massive front screen and centre console.

But the surprise wasn't over yet, as Christian opened the boot to reveal that he had also won £21,000! "Wake me up!" Brian exclaimed - don't worry Brian, you're definitely awake! Brian plans to use some of the money to go on a cruise and treat his daughters.

Massive congrats!

Bury man bags competition win scooping dream car and cash prize

Apr 2023

A motoring fan has expressed his joy after winning a new BMW and more than £20,000 in cash in an online competition. Brian Richardson, from Bury, was shocked to learn he had won his dream car worth £41,245 when BOTB (Best of the Best) presenter Christian Williams turned up at his home telling him he was this week’s Dream Car Competition winner.

But the surprise didn’t end there, as Christian revealed to the BMW superfan that his prize also came with £21,000 in cash stashed in the boot. A shocked Brian said: "Oh wow, I'm looking forward to this! “I absolutely love the car.

"Living where we do here it is quite hilly, so we wanted a 4x4, especially during wintertime. "This is as good a 4x4 as you can get.

“I play for fun, but you always hope Christian will turn up and I’m so glad he did." Brian plans to use some of the money to go on a cruise and treat his daughters.

He added: “I play it every week and noticed the car I play for had the cash prize on offer as well. “We enjoy cruises and are just looking at a new cruise at the minute so the money will be absolutely fantastic towards it.” The BMW X1 xDrive23d features a roomy interior, 211bhp diesel engine and top speed of 140mph.

Christian said: “A huge congratulations to Brian on winning such a fabulous car and lots of money to go with it. “The look of them is stunning and it will gallop up his hill quicker than he can imagine. “Brian clearly knows his stuff about the car and can come and work for us and do a review on it.”

BOTB hands over the keys to a stunning dream car each week as well as a lifestyle prize. Winners have previously bagged Rolex watches, luxury holidays and motorbikes in recent months. The company, listed on the stock market, was founded by William Hindmarch in 1999 and has given away more than £52m-worth of cars so far.
