Christian was down in Brighton this morning to surprise our latest Dream Car Competition winner - taxi driver, Atef Ikladios. Atef has scooped the most expensive car in the line-up: the mean and modified Brabus GLE-700, worth a huge £187,000!

"Oh my goodness! Is this real?!" Atef exclaimed, as the scale of his win started to sink in. Being the Brabus model, this car comes packed with cool upgrades, including a tonne of carbon fibre across the back and front, 24 inch alloys, 700bhp...not to mention all the cool Brabus badges on display!

And the surprise didn't end there, as Christian then opened the boot to reveal that Atef had also won £50,000 cash, making a total prize fund of £237,000! "This is just a dream day!" said Atef, unsurprisingly! Huge congratulations!

Brighton taxi driver wins new Mercedus Brabus car

A TAXI driver is upgrading his wheels after winning a Mercedes Brabus, worth £187,000, and £50,000 in cash from an online competition.

Atef Ikladios from Brighton said it was “a dream come true” to win the prize, after paying £5 for a ticket.

Christian Williams, presenter for competitions company BOTB, turned up at Atef’s house to tell him the good news, leaving him in shock and joy.

Atef, who lives with his wife in Southwick, immediately recognised Christian when he arrived to tell him the good news and was taken to a car dealership for a grand unveiling of his new car.

“Is it real? I can’t believe it. It’s my dream day today,” he said.

He was left even more shocked when it was revealed there is only one other Mercedes Brabus in the UK and was presented with £50,000 in the boot of the top-of-the-range car.

He said: “This is life-changing for me and my family. We’re looking to buy a house, so this will help with that.”

BOTB, founded in 1999, has given away more than £47 million worth of cars so far.
