Lambo-Greevesy!

Sometimes ‘Who Dares Wins’…especially in Hereford, home of the legendary SAS. But if you work at Tesco, it’s more ‘Every Little Helps’. In fact, both apply to local resident Lloyd Greeves, who today landed the most expensive car ever won at BOTB – the Lamborghini Urus, worth a whopping £165,000! Lloyd had just got home after finishing work as Night Shift Manager at Tesco and was lost for words to see Will at his front door (or perhaps he was just half-asleep)!

Lloyd normally plays three or four tickets for the Jaguar F-Pace or I-Pace, but threw an extra one in his basket for the Urus SUV last week “on the off chance!” Well, Lloyd can now proudly claim to be a Lamborghini owner…and better still, he’s also won £20,000 in cash – congratulations Lloyd!

Supermarket night manager wins a Lamborghini

Feb 2019

A HEREFORD man had the surprise of his life when he was handed the keys to his dream car.

Lloyd Greeves was left speechless when he discovered that he had won a £165,000 supercar while a further £20,000 in cash in the boot was also his.

The Tesco Night Manager from Redhill was getting ready for bed following a night shift when Will Hindmarch knocked on his door on Tuesday to deliver the surprise which had been carefully planned and co-ordinated with the help of Mr Greeves' son, Louis.

"I've been playing for four or five years now and I just can't believe that I've won. No-one's going to believe this," he said.

"I've no idea what I'm going to do with the money yet, I'm still in shock."

"It's just completely overwhelming."

Founded by Mr Hindmarch in 1999, Best of the Best is a dream car competition that runs weekly car giveaways.

It offers players the chance to win one of several dream cars alongside a lifestyle competition giving away cash and other prizes.

Players buy tickets for the prize they want and play 'Spot the Ball,' with the winner being the person closest to that decided upon by judges.

So far, more than £25 million worth of cars have been given to more than 450 winners, but Mr Greeves' new Lamborghini takes the top spot as the most valuable win ever.

Mr Hindmarch said: "This incredible Lamborghini is the most expensive car we have ever given away.

"It's fantastic to be able to surprise people by realising their dreams."

TESTIMONIAL

To win the Lamborghini was unbelievable. When I saw William at my door I knew instantly who he was, because I’ve been playing for about 5 years and my heart just stopped. I was completely lost for words and never thought this could happen to me in my wildest dreams! William was fantastic and I was so impressed with the whole experience.

I enjoy playing and really look forward to the results every week to see how close I was. I think this is the buzz and what keeps you playing week in week out.

When the BOTB team left I just broke down and cried as the realisation of what had just happened began to sink in. William has created a brilliant format and exciting way to win the car of your dreams. Thank you and especially William for making my dreams come true.
