Burnley sandwich shop owner wins £10,000 Rolex worn by the stars

Apr 2020

A sandwich shop owner from Burnley will be donning a brand new £10,000 Rolex worn by the likes of David Beckham, Sylvester Stallone and Tiger Woods thanks to lifestyle competition, BOTB.

Steven Foster was left shocked when he received a call from BOTB presenter Christian Williams to tell him he had won the Rolex Deepsea watch worth £10,350.

“I was left completely shocked when I was told I had won,” said Steven. “I love my watches and have a little collection, but nothing anywhere near as expensive or nice as this.”

The former truck driver bought his sandwich shop two years ago, as it was his dream to own one before he retired. However, he made the decision to close his shop due to the coronavirus crisis recently.

“Things are a little tough at the moment, but this is a massive surprise and a nice lift,” said the 58-year-old.
“I’ve never won anything before, and what a time to finally get a bit luck.”

BOTB’s Christian, who surprises winners weekly all over the world, was thrilled to be able to give Steven the good news.

“Many people from all walks of life are finding it tough throughout the pandemic, and to see that smile spread across Steven’s face when he found out he had won was brilliant,” said Christian.

“The Rolex Deepsea is a remarkable watch, and as an enthusiast, I’m sure Steven is going to love it.”

Since being founded in 1999 by William Hindmarch, BOTB has given away over £32m worth of prizes.
