Move over XC90 – the future is here and the EX90 wants your parking space!
The Volvo XC90 has been a hugely popular car, especially in its latest guise for many years, offering a mix of classy, understated looks and unmatched practicality along with a world class hybrid powertrain. But now there’s a full EV Volvo SUV and it really is something special.
Taking the current Volvo design language and smoothing off the front end for aero performance, it’s still very obviously a Volvo SUV but now looks modern, futuristic and still has that classless style about it.
Under the floor sits a huge 107kWh battery, which means the EX90 can do a WLTP range of 360 miles and thanks to 250kW charging capability you can add a further 200 miles in 25 minutes. No range anxiety here!
This is the performance version too, which means two motors, 510bhp and over 900Nm of torque, so 0-62mph is dealt with in just 4.9 seconds.
Being the Ultra model there’s every bit of spec you could want, too. Full LiDAR driver assistance, 22-inch alloy wheels, 7 seats, HD Pixel LED headlights, a 14.5-inch display on the dashboard, air suspension, Head-up display, the list goes on and on.
