Win a Mercedes EQA 250 AMG Line Premium Plus
It seems every manufacturer is releasing electric SUVs of varying sizes these days, and Mercedes is no exception. Joining the already launched EQC is the new EQA, aiming to give people a premium EV experience without losing out on traditional Mercedes qualities.
Styling wise, the EQA is based on the GLA body, so it’s part hatchback, part crossover, part SUV with a raised-up body, but still stylish, lithe looks.
The front end is tweaked from GLA to EQA, with a blanked-off grille for aero benefits (as it doesn’t have an engine to cool) and LED headlights. Being the AMG Line model, there’s a sporty front bumper, too.
At the rear, there’s a new full-width rear light bar which gives the EQA a unique look, while inside, there’s the usual incredible Mercedes interior with a wide double screen, super stylish air vents and ambient lighting. Being the Premium Plus model, you also get pretty much every option thrown in – panoramic roof, 20-inch alloys, keyless go, Burmester sound system, head-up display, augmented reality nav system, the list goes on.
The EQA is a pure EV, so there’s a single motor up front producing 188bhp and 375Nm of torque and a 66.5kWh battery. That means a combined WLTP range of 261 miles, which should see a realistic driving range of 200-220 miles, more than enough for most journeys.
And if you need to charge en route, it supports rapid 100kW charging, which can take you from 10-80% battery in just 30 mins.
Win yourself a super stylish small Mercedes EV in the BOTB Dream Car Competition!
