Cupra seems to have finally found its place in the VW Group, with bespoke cars like the Formentor and their own versions of VW cars like the Born EV. But now they’ve combined those and made their own, bespoke EV SUV – the Tavascan.
Similar in concept to the VW ID5, it’s either a crossover or SUV-Coupe depending on how you like to categorise them – so there’s a super aggressive front end, flared arches and a sleek sloping roofline tapering to a pert rear with a unique rear light bar.
Inside there’s a really sporty central spur that joins the centre console to the dash and overall it looks incredible – so futuristic.
Power is 322bhp from the two motors (making it AWD) and there’s a 77kWH battery that gives a WLTP range of 299 miles. That’s more enough for most people for a week and even when you do need to go further you can add 200 miles in 25mins.
