Stoke City fan Mitch Ainsworth won a luxury £50,000 Mercedes and £30,000 in cash to help him get his foot on the property ladder.
The 21-year-old was taking a few days off before starting a new job when he had a video call to tell him he was now the proud owner of a Mercedes A45S AMG and a few thousand pounds richer.
Mitch, who was looking to upgrade his Ford Fiesta, won the dream motor through the BOTB Midweek Car Competition in March.
The good news kept rolling for Mitch as BOTB presenter Christian Williams revealed the car's boot was stuffed with cash during their video call.
Now the pair have met in person after Mitch went to collect the car.
"I can't believe it," said Mitch. "The spoiler just makes the car.
"It took about five minutes to pick. It was that colour, that AeroPak, done.
"I still don't believe it."
Mitch, who is from Stoke-on-Trent, was given the chance to pick his own spoiler, custom interior, and even customised number plate on the vehicle.
He added: "It's even better in person, I've never seen one.
"My dad was driving around everywhere and on the motorway and hadn't seen one. It felt amazing to take it home."
The Mercedes A45S features a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged engine that can hit 62mph in just 3.9 seconds.
BOTB hands over the keys to two luxury cars like Mitch's each week as well as other lifestyle prizes. Recent winners have bagged a quad bike, a holiday to Las Vegas and a gaming tech bundle.
The company was founded by William Hindmarch in 1999.
Recalling his winning phone call, Mitch said: "I wondered who was ringing me but remembered I had entered a competition and it could be me.
"I was wondering if this is real. I just didn't know what to say.
"I rang my girlfriend and she didn't believe me."
