Vroom, vroom! Steve wins Ford Focus RS {{favouriteCount}}

A MAN from Southend was delighted to discover yesterday he had won a £32,000 car from competition company, BOTB. Steve Fletcher, 55, a lorry driver from Southend, won the Ford Focus RS after guessing correctly where a football is in a picture. Steve said: “It’s pretty amazing and I am delighted.” “I’ve always enjoyed driving but I’ve never owned a brand new car before.

“My first car was a Ford Escort MK1, so now this feels like I’ve graduated to the modern day equivalent. “It seems as though it was destiny!” Steve first played the competition at an airport around four years ago and has played occasionally online since then. His job entails moving stages around for A-list bands and singers, including Lady Gaga.

He added: “My job can be hard work but I enjoy it. “We can have 30 to 40 trucks moving the sets overnight to the next venue. “I even get to meet some of the stars and also get watch the concerts, which is great, and I’ve even had a kiss from Lady Gaga.” Head to botb.com, where you can see Steve’s reaction to his win, as well as a host of past winners.
