Sleaford pub landlord wins shiny new BMW - after already winning £163k Bentley {{favouriteCount}}
A Lincolnshire pub landlord was left stunned after winning a new BMW a few years after winning a Bentley Continental with the same competition firm. Stephen McHugh, from Sleaford, won a BMW X1 M Sport worth £38,000 in BOTB's Instant Wins Competition, where tickets are just £1.99.
It comes just four years after winning a £163,000 Bentley Continental GT W12 and £20,000 in cash in the same firm's Dream Car Competition. Stephen, 62, said: "I'm in disbelief that I have won again. I'm not sure if I believe in luck or not.
"I’m just an optimist who plays for a bit of fun and thinks I’ve got as good a chance as anybody else. I entered this competition at the last minute, like when I won the Bentley. It took me about 20 minutes to decide whether to enter or not, and it was about 10 minutes to midnight when I hit the buy button.
"It certainly proved to be worth it. When it came through I had won, I spent five minutes staring at the screen."
The win came at the perfect time for the father-of-two, who has experienced a tough few years with various health issues. He added: "I've had an interesting time of things since I won the Bentley, but I'm feeling amazing now health-wise, and this latest win has brought me some joy."
Car competitions company BOTB hands over the keys to a dream car each week as well as a lifestyle prize. It also offers people the chance to win a holiday, cash, tech, cars and more in its Instant Wins Competition. Founded by William Hindmarch in 1999, BOTB has given away £70 million worth of cars so far.
