Lucky Couple Both Win Sports Cars Within Six Months {{favouriteCount}}

Rian Hounsome (pictured above) and her husband Steve Mcloughlin (pictured below) have now both won cars in the Best of the Best competition, Get Reading reports.

Steve won his £60,000 Jaguar F-Type in the competition at Christmas and Rian was surprised at home recently when she was presented with a £94,000 Aston Martin, a bottle of champagne and £10,000 hidden in the car's boot.

Unsurprisingly, they are the first husband and wife duo to have won in the history of the competition.

Rian was presented with the car by Will Hindmarch (pictured above) the managing director who had presenter her husband Steve with his car earlier in the year (pictured below).


Rian said: "I had no idea I'd won the competition, they arrived at my house at around 10am with the car, the money and a bottle of champagne.

"It's completely unbelievable, like a dream come true."

She went on to say that they'd like to spend their winnings on a family holiday, adding: "My 22-year-old son, Beer, is on the waiting list for a heart transplant and has been unable to travel for a few years now.

In a video on the BOTB site, managing director, Will Hindmarch, can be seen presenting Rian with her shiny new Aston Martin as he adds at the end of the footage: "I'm absolutely green with envy that they've got these two cars outside their house now but it just shows that anything can happen"

It seems they're not the only lucky couple though as in April this year, a husband and wife from Scunthorpe won £1million in the lottery having won the same amount in 2013!

David and Kathleen Long from Scunthorpe beat odds of more than 283 billion to one to scoop the jackpot for a second time.
