A Londoner couldn't believe his luck when he found out he won a Rolex worth almost £8,000 in a competition that he'd completely forgotten he'd entered.
Jonathan Veal, a construction worker and former personal trainer, 'couldn't keep a straight face' when he found out he had won - especially since it had only cost him 50p to enter.
Jonathan even admitted that his answer to the question asked in the competition was a lucky guess.
To win, he had correctly select which of nine countries displayed did not qualify for the 2020(21) UEFA European Football Championship and he guessed Greece.
The competition was run by online competition company BOTB, and he was given the good news by the firm's presenter Christian Williams.
Jonathan didn't remember he'd entered the competition until he saw Christian's face appear on his phone.
He said: “Wow - I can’t believe this!
“It’s crazy - I’ve always wanted something like this.
“It’s just such a signature piece - that one specifically; I really like the face. It’s not too big, it’s not too small, it just sits perfectly on the wrist. It just looks classy.
“You’ve made my day.”
Jonathan won a black and blue Rolex GMT-Master II Batman watch, worth £7,750, and also owned by the likes of tennis legend Roger Federer, and football icons Kasper Schmeichel and Karim Benzema.
Online competition company BOTB gives away many luxury prizes every week, including stunning cars, a quad bike and even a trip to Las Vegas.
