Leeds woman Lisa Mckay wins brand new Alfa Romeo worth £44k {{favouriteCount}}

A WOMAN could not believe her luck after winning a £44,000 car whilst working from home.

Lisa Mckay was scrolling absent-mindedly during a work break when she decided to enter a competition hosted by giveaway company BOTB.

Lisa, from Leeds, never expected to win the keys to a brand new Alfa Romeo and struggled to believe her luck when BOTB presenter Christian Williams called.

Assuming someone must have made a mistake, Lisa could only utter the word “unbelieveable” when Christian dangled the keys to an Alfa Romeo 4C worth £44,490.

“I’ve seen the videos of you with other winners,” she told Christian.

“Although you are normally surprising them at work. But I’ve always assumed this kind of thing happened to other people.”

Lisa said she would be taking the cash prize alternative to the car offered by BOTB to help make Christmas extra special and to help with other bills.

“I think my significant other will be the first person I tell but I’ll create a special moment and not during the normal working day,” she added during the video call.

Car competitions company BOTB hands over the keys to a stunning dream car each week as well as a lifestyle prize.
