A construction worker from Greater London has won £30,000 worth of cryptocurrency with online competition specialist BOTB.
Bogdan Sandra, from Harrow, has bagged himself the Bitcoin in BOTB’s 48hr Lifestyle Competition.
BOTB presenter Christian Williams video called the 40-year-old to surprise him with the news he was this week’s winner.
“This is the first time I have won anything, so I’m very happy,” he said. “I thought it was a joke at first when Christian told me I had won, and my friends didn’t believe me either when I told them.”
Bogdan said he was still undecided over whether to take the Bitcoin or the cash alternative.
“My friends are saying take the cash because I can do more with it. If I did go for the cash, I would use it to put towards a mortgage on a house,” he added.
Christian said: “A massive congratulations to Bogdan for winning this top prize. He was clearly very happy with the news and I don't think he could quite believe it.
“He now has £30,000 invested in the crypto market and will be hoping to make a tidy profit!”
Leading car competitions company BOTB hands over the keys to a stunning dream car each week as well as a lifestyle prize.
It also offers people the chance to win a holiday, cash, tech, cars and more in its Instant Wins Competition.
Founded by William Hindmarch in 1999, BOTB has given away £70m-worth of cars so far.
