A petrolhead is looking forward to tearing up the track at Knockhill racing circuit after winning a supercar worth £40,000 in an online prize draw.
Christmas has come early for Charlie Glancy, a sign maker from Giffnock, Glasgow, who landed the 340bhp Ariel Atom 4 and £20,000 cash in a contest run by BOTB website.
The 35-year-old, who drives a Mitsubishi Evo 8, said: “This really is my dream car, and the money will help me in ways you couldn’t imagine.
“I was really going to struggle this Christmas but now I can be comfortable without having to worry.”
Charlie plans at least one modification to his Atom.
He said: “I will definitely be adding a windscreen, otherwise the Scottish elements will make mincemeat of me”.
