Britcars: The Best of the Best {{favouriteCount}}

British cars are the cream of the crop, according to a massive new popularity poll.

Home made models scooped all but one of the top six most-desired cars spots in the poll of 55,000 people across over 80 different countries.

Best of the Best, the in-airport and online competition organiser that gives away car prizes, conducted the poll.

The Range Rover Sport TDV6 took first prize, despite not even being the best car in its own range, while no Ferraris made the top 20.

The Aston Martin Vantage V8 finished second. Then came the Range Rover Evoque in third and Range Rover Vogue fourth.

The compact Mercedes A220 CDI AMG Sport took fifth place.

William Hindmarch, Best of the Best founder, said: "It's great to see how popular British motors are, particularly when they are in direct competition with your ordinary motoring fan who dreams of winning his ultimate car."

Best of the Best has given away over £15 million of dream cars since launching in 1999.
