He didn't quite achieve the goal of getting behind the wheel of his dream car in a spot-the-ball competition but Andy Spragg is happy to have netted a £43,000 cheque. Andy, an Im team leader at British Airways, entered a Best of the Best competition to win a top new car.

He didn't quite achieve the goal of getting behind the wheel of his dream car in a spot-the-ball competition but Andy Spragg is happy to have netted a £43,000 cheque. Andy, an Im team leader at British Airways, entered a Best of the Best competition to win a top new car.

Andy placed the ball correctly - but so did another entrant so he had to take away the alternative cash prize instead of an Aston Martin DB9.
Andy, who lived in Teddington, says although he was attracted to the competition by the car, which he saw on the Best of the Best stand at Gatwick Airport, he's happy to have scooped the cash.
He said: "My daughter is off to university this year so this money will really help towards that."
